Summary:

1. ·         Must have very strong verbal communications Skill and good interpersonal skills.
2. ·         Excellent troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge is a must.
3. ·         Basic Knowledge of Networking.
4. ·         Ability to work different shifts in a 24x7 environment.
5. ·         Excellent analytical skills.
6. ·         CCNA or equivalent hands on experience preferred. 
7. ·         Answer all incoming technical support calls in queue with appropriate opening script, log all calls, walk customers though the trouble shooting steps.
8. ·         Troubleshoot Internet connectivity, browser configurations, personal firewalls, email issues, VPN Connectivity and TCP/IP issues.
9. ·         Troubleshoot LAN, WLAN, DSL, TCP/IP,DNS
10. ·         Responsible for handling customer calls with a positive problem-solving attitude.
11. ·         Provide input for troubleshooting procedures and diagnostic tools
12. ·         Properly document all calls in CRM.
13. ·         May also perform additional duties such as; preventative maintenance and or other IT services.

Job Description

NDE will be responsible for designing all aspects of the technical network design (LAN & WAN) for very large public sector corporates. The NDE must have working knowledge of Intra and Internetworking concepts in so far as it applies to and Data Communications. The NDE will supervise and assist the vendors’ technical staff in the installation of the network infrastructure. He/she will also coordinate and liaise with Software Application and Database Expert and Virtualisation Systems Expert for an optimal and extendable solution.
 
         
 
            Experienced in:

• Design of IP addressing scheme, subnetting, route summarization etc.
• Creation of DMZs
• Networks administration;
• Day to day infrastructure Support;
• System maintenance and upgrades;
• Developing SOPs and other relevant Documentation;
• Consolidation, availability (HA, FT) and resources Management in virtualized environments;
• Extensive Networking knowledge and experience of all LAN and routing protocols (TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP);

Job Description:

The Position:

Contour requires an energetic and technically sound IT & Network Administration resource, to join our CHS New Star divisions’ IT department, to manage servers and perform technical services work for internal requirements as well as for customer needs.

The hired resource will work in collaboration and under guidance from the senior IT Administrator located in our Toronto office. Thus the position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work a later shift, in order to have appropriate overlap with the Eastern time work day.

Since some of the work will be performed on client systems, a rigorous level of conscientiousness and attention to detail is necessary for success in this role.

Skills Required:

•  2-10 years’ experience as a system administrator in a Windows networking environment
• Microsoft Certification, MCSE or MCITP
• Experience in Microsoft Licensing (SPLA)
• Familiarity with the remote desktop protocol (RDP). Remote App familiarity is not a necessity but would be a plus
• Familiarity with IIS 6, 7 and 7.5
• Microsoft SQL Server database administration skills (2005, 2008, 2012)
• Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and testing
• Familiarity with virtual environments (VMWare)
• Experience managing Sonic Wall Firewall
• Experience working with Go Grid
• Experience working with Progress
